2008 has just begun, and I’m already seeing green! You must be too, or you wouldn’t be reading this. Our mantra at Go Green has always been, “We can do this together,” and the beginning of a new year provides us a great opportunity to live up to it. I hope you’re as excited as we are!

A friend of mine just sent me this great Paul Hawken quote:

The best thing about the dilemma we’re in is that we get to re-imagine every single thing we do. And so there are two ways of looking at that: Oh, my gosh, what a big burden. The other way to look at it, which I prefer, is: What a great time to be born! What a great time to be alive! Because this generation gets to essentially completely change the world.

That’s a great reminder that as stewards of the environment, we must focus on opportunity and hope, not despair and apathy. A great perspective for the new year…thanks for that Charlie.

From everyone here at Go Green, have a happy and healthy new year!
