For a great way to keep up with the local scene, check out our Green Charleston feed over at Twitter.com.

Twitter is a great way to keep track of people and organizations you care about through small, bite-sized messages called “tweets”. If you are new to Twitter and have no idea what I’m talking about, check out the video Twitter in Plain English.

We’ll be using our Green Charleston Twitter feed to:

  • Provide our community with a “Daily Green” tip for sustainable living #dailygreen
  • Announce new blog posts, content, and events
  • Link to local green news, businesses, organizations, and people when we don’t have time to write a full blog post about
  • Create a network of local, regional, and national greenies interested in what is happening right here in Charleston
  • Mobilize local residents when there is an urgent need for action

Whether you read it online, on your mobile phone, or in your RSS reader, our Green Charleston feed will bring you all the essentials for Go Green Charleston. The potential of this platform really excites us, and we look forward to building connections with our community in any way we can. Come join us at www.twitter.com/GreenCharleston.
